Director of Design for Women's Apparel - Remote

Overview

In this role, you will work in an energizing, inclusive, and creative environment focused on concepting and creating sustainable product that exceeds customers' expectations. Your goal is to partner with cross functional team members who collectively are responsible for ensuring that the product style, fit, and quality are more than worth the price for our customers.

In Short

• Lead team through all aspects of the product design process.
• Provide creative direction, coaching, and develop a high performing team.
• Research global markets to identify new seasonal trends and inspirations.
• Develop overall design vision and advocate strategies to leadership.
• Build strong relationships with Merchandising, Production, and Marketing.
• Create tech packs and communicate vision for fit and design.
• Responsible for planning, budget, and end results of the design team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Possess an elevated sense of style and aesthetic.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction and fabric.

Requirements

• Ability to lead and influence a team of designers.
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of merchandising and product development processes.
• Ability to juggle multiple seasons and track deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills for complex concepts.
