Overview

The Instructional System Designer (ISD) works to identify skills, knowledge, and information gaps of a targeted audience and creates learning experiences to close these gaps, building strong relationships with clients.

• Performs needs, job, audience, and task analyses to determine training requirements.
• Engages with client stakeholders and SMEs for feedback and information.
• Completes independent research to understand business needs.
• Facilitates meetings for learning design and development.
• Designs learning resources in various formats.
• Creates instructor-led training and web-based training.
• Generates video scripts and scenarios using creative writing.
• Works independently and collaboratively.
• Researches innovative technology in instructional design.
• Manages projects efficiently to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of instructional design principles.
• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Systems Design or related field.
