Overview

An experienced, impact-driven Data Engineer is needed to join GovWorx, focusing on building reliable, scalable data pipelines for AI solutions in public safety.

In Short

  • Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and workflows.
  • Manage and optimize structured and semi-structured data.
  • Evaluate and implement new database technologies.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers.
  • Build internal tooling for data access and monitoring.
  • Support infrastructure-as-code and cloud automation.
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles required.
  • Strong experience with AWS tools and Python for data processing.
  • Must pass FBI fingerprint and background check.
  • Contribute to AI projects that support public safety.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or backend roles.
  • Proficiency in relational and non-relational datastores.
  • Experience with AWS tools like S3, Glue, and Lambda.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Experience with Python for data processing.
  • Familiarity with containerization and version control.
  • Must pass FBI fingerprint and background check.
