Senior Android Engineer - Remote

Overview

Gorilla Logic is looking for a multidisciplinary Senior Android Developer with exceptional mobile development skills to work as a member of an Agile team, responsible for building and maintaining our client's web and mobile applications.

In Short

• Design and develop new user-facing features and maintain existing features.
• Proactively maintain and improve test, build, and release pipelines.
• Collaborate with iOS and Web teams for feature parity.
• Engage with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and design.
• Provide input on architectural decisions and drive implementation.
• Follow developments in the Android ecosystem.
• Promote a written-first culture for documentation and tech specs.
• Peer review code and conduct technical interviews.
• 5+ years of native Android app development experience required.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Dagger, RxJava, Compose, Espresso, Git.
• Experience with Android build tooling like Gradle.
• Strong testing culture and maintainable code writing.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Buildkite or Docker.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong ownership and self-driven attitude.
• Curious and willing to learn new technologies.
