Front End Developer - Remote

Overview

GoodParty.org is seeking a talented Front End Developer to join our mission-driven team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in building intuitive, accessible, and AI-powered tools and our headless CMS-based website. You will develop seamless web experiences, ensuring candidates can run, win, and serve without the influence of partisan or big-money politics.

In Short

• The first priority for this role will be work for our Growth team.
• Build intuitive, inclusive, and accessible tools that function seamlessly across desktop and mobile.
• Turn product requirements and designs into high-quality working software.
• Build out AI and LLM use cases.
• Identify and maintain pixel-perfect site-wide design standards.
• Collaborate with a lean, agile team using Kanban methodologies.
• Work directly with product, design, and QA.
• Report to the CTO.
• Partner closely with the Director of Growth.
• Join a passionate team focused on transforming civic leadership.

Requirements

• Experience with Next.js and TailWind (or similar CSS frameworks).
• Strong JavaScript skills and experience with React.js.
• Excellent CSS/SCSS skills.
• 4+ years of relevant full-time work experience.
• Experience with AI, LLMs, and automation of tasks through AI.
• Technical and analytical skills to diagnose problems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
