Overview

GlossGenius is looking for a strategic and experienced Product Counsel to lead the product counsel and privacy functions within its Legal Department, playing a pivotal role in defining the long-term success of the product.

In Short

• Lead product counsel and privacy functions.
• Design and implement engagement model with Product and Engineering teams.
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate legal risks.
• Advise on legal and compliance requirements.
• Develop methods for legal and privacy review.
• Manage privacy compliance program.
• Collaborate with Marketing for compliance.
• Draft and maintain internal policies.
• Deliver legal training for employees.
• Manage relationships with outside counsel.

Requirements

• JD and member of a relevant U.S. state bar.
• 5+ years of experience counseling technology product teams.
• Excellent analytical and legal skills.
• Team player with strong prioritization skills.
• High integrity and excellent judgment.
• CIPP qualification and/or experience with HIPAA a plus.
