The Technical Architect role at GitLab is a multifaceted and pivotal position responsible for guiding and executing a wide range of critical responsibilities. You will oversee the entire engagement life cycle, from initial scoping to delivery, ensuring that deliverables align with customer expectations.

• Deliver high-level designs for Professional Services projects.

• Deploy to customer on-prem and cloud providers using Terraform and Ansible.
• Perform migrations from source systems to GitLab.
• Provide DevOps and DevSecOps consulting.
• Coordinate implementation activities for large scale enterprise projects.
• Mentor consultants and provide guidance on best practices.
• Liaise with functional groups within GitLab.
• Lead technical discovery sessions with customers.
• Stay updated on product releases and features.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience delivering consulting services in SCM migration, Cloud Architecture, DevOps Engineering, and CI/CD.
• Progressive experience in software development and DevOps platforms.
• Problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong organizational and presentation skills.
