Senior Solutions Architect - Remote

Overview

The Solutions Architect role at Gigster is designed for an enthusiastic self-starter who is passionate about delivering the right solution, with ownership of the technical direction of client engagements for the entire lifecycle of developing and implementing cutting-edge solutions.

• Work directly with clients to understand their technical environment and requirements.
• Partner with cloud engineers to develop tailored solutions.
• Own the entire engagement lifecycle from pre-sales to delivery.
• Lead in a hands-on capacity, answering client and technical team questions.
• Inspire confidence in clients and mentor junior team members.
• Inform the company's strategic direction with industry insights.
• Create best practices and supporting documentation.
• Demonstrate technical and architectural skills.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of total work experience, preferably 15.
• Minimum 5 years experience with public cloud (Azure / AWS / GCP).
• 2+ years of writing production-quality code.
• 4+ years of architecture and design decision-making experience.
• 2+ years of technical design decision-making experience with cloud services.
• Evidence of senior technical leadership influencing a software development team.
• Exemplary English verbal and written communication skills.
• Be based in the Americas.
• Ability to work flexible hours within US time zones.
