Overview

The Validation Test Engineer will prepare, plan, and conduct validation testing for powertrain systems, ensuring quality and compliance while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

In Short

  • Prepare, plan, and conduct validation testing.
  • Report on ADV status and create end-of-test summaries.
  • Support Quality Processes and collect Best Practices.
  • Lead export validation activities in foreign countries.
  • Participate in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
  • Analyze and interpret data from tests.
  • Maintain communication with customers and prepare test reports.
  • Support Vehicle Validation and Type Approval Activities.
  • Hybrid work policy: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote.
  • Collaborate with Problem Solving Teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.
  • Three years of experience as a Validation Test Engineer or related role.
  • Experience with calibration tools like Puma, INCA, and Matlab.
  • Experience with propulsion system development and validation.
  • Knowledge of Powertrain Calibration Process.
  • Experience diagnosing engine systems and calibrations.
  • Ability to lead validation activities with customers and suppliers.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for report preparation.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment.
