Overview

The Body Control Senior Software Engineer will design and release embedded software for Body Control and Exterior Lighting Modules in automotive systems, ensuring compliance with various global standards.

In Short

  • Design and release Body Control Module (BCM) and Exterior Lighting Module (ELM) software.
  • Prepare software timing plans to meet program requirements.
  • Simulate and test software calibrations for vehicle features.
  • Utilize Agile and SAFe methodologies for project management.
  • Lead cross-functional software projects and coach team members.
  • Ensure compliance with international automotive regulations.
  • Provide training and support for software and calibration processes.
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings to track progress.
  • Utilize tools like MATLAB, Simulink, and Git for software development.
  • Conduct Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA) for software design.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant engineering fields.
  • Experience in automotive software development and embedded systems.
  • Proficiency in Embedded C, Rhapsody, MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Knowledge of vehicle electrical architectures and communication protocols.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience with tools such as CAN, LIN, and Vehicle Spy.
  • Ability to debug complex vehicle-level software issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to participate in continuous learning and development.
