RF Engineer Advisor - Remote

Overview

GDIT is seeking Junior up to Senior level RF Engineers to support our upcoming BIM contract, focusing on modernizing wireless network design and implementation for Air Force and Space Force bases globally.

In Short

• Positions available: RF Engineer, RF Engineer Senior, RF Engineer Advisor.
• Remote work with extensive travel required.
• Coordinate with Government Points of Contact for project tasks.
• Provide technical expertise in wireless network design.
• Lead small implementation teams or manage specific work scopes.
• Develop technical project plans and reports.
• Maintain quality assurance of project deliverables.
• Participate in special projects as required.
• Active DoD Secret Level Clearance required.
• Travel required: 80-100%.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years for Junior, 5+ years for Senior, and 8+ years for Advisor level in IT projects.
• Familiarity with wireless network design documents.
• Strong understanding of Wireless and IT functions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment.
• Strong coordination and organizational skills.
• Experience using MS Visio or related CAD tools (desired).
• Strong commitment to teamwork.
• Ability to analyze and interpret technical documents.
