FOIA / PA Subject Matter Expert - Remote

Overview

As a Functional Analyst with expertise in FOIA and PA, you will support the Veterans Benefits Administration by translating business needs into actionable requirements, enabling better outcomes for Veterans and their families.

In Short

• Analyze FOIA / PA mission requirements and workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for functional and technical requirements.
• Assist in developing use cases and process diagrams.
• Support system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Contribute to documentation including functional specifications and training materials.
• Work with product managers and developers to deliver user-centered solutions.
• 5+ years of related experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills required.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a FOIA / PA Veterans Service Representative.
• Ability to translate stakeholder input into actionable plans.
• Experience in gathering and documenting requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to pass a government background screening.
