Cybersecurity Infrastructure Support Lead/Manager - Remote

Overview

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking an experienced and skilled Security Infrastructure Support Team Lead to support one of our federal customers on an enterprise cyber program. This position offers a combination of remote work and periodic travel to the DC Metro area for on-site support work and customer meetings.

In Short

• Lead technical teams in managing and supporting a hybrid infrastructure (on-premises and cloud).
• Oversee project management and technical risk analysis.
• Ensure cloud security practices are implemented for AWS, Azure, and Office 365.
• Incorporate DevSecOps practices into the deployment process.
• Manage enterprise cybersecurity tools across a hybrid environment.
• Engage with Federal leadership and compliance offices.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and performance metrics.
• Lead incident response and continuous monitoring efforts.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to pass a government security investigation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in security engineering.
• Experience overseeing a hybrid infrastructure for a federal customer.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with cloud security concepts and services.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with federal cybersecurity compliance frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Leadership experience in incident response and monitoring.
• Prior experience in the health domain is a plus.
