Overview

As a Proposal Writer at Gainwell, you will contribute your skills to help clients improve the health and well-being of vulnerable community members, while working in a flexible and growth-oriented environment.

In Short

• Analyze customer requests for proposals and identify key RFP requirements.
• Write compelling proposal responses that highlight company solutions.
• Collaborate with various teams to complete proposals.
• Proofread documents to ensure quality and compliance.
• Work with sales and leadership to meet submission deadlines.
• Understand business challenges and propose technology-enabled solutions.
• Develop necessary proposal attachments and coordinate with finance.
• Assist with the production of printed and electronic materials.
• Maintain the proposal database with updated responses.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure.
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Understanding of proposal/project management.
• Ability to articulate business value of solutions.
• Experience in Communications, Journalism, or English preferred.
• 3 years of experience in proposal writing.
• APMP and PMP certifications are a plus.
• Experience with Medicaid FFS or State Governments is a plus.
