Our current focus is on supporting multiple analytics and research programs across the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

In Short

• Seeking a Cloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer to build and maintain cloud infrastructure.
• Focus on an AI/ML-driven data science platform for federal health clients.
• Design, implement, and manage AWS-based infrastructure.
• Work with Software Engineers and data scientists for infrastructure needs.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Ensure infrastructure is scalable, secure, and reliable.
• Champion automation and streamline deployments.
• Participate in on-call support for critical issues.
• Document infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Identify opportunities for AWS cost optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in IT with a focus on cloud infrastructure and DevOps.
• Extensive experience with AWS services (IAM, VPC, S3, EC2, etc.).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, etc.).
• Strong skills in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS).
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• AWS Professional level certifications preferred.
• Experience in Agile development environments.
