Information Security Analyst - SecOps - Remote

Overview

The Information Security Analyst - SecOps will be responsible for securing and protecting the company's infrastructure, providing security expertise, and supporting the implementation of the company security strategy.

• Investigate alerts and develop remediation plans.
• Conduct security incident response activities.
• Compose incident analysis and finding reports.
• Recommend new detection logic and tune security controls.
• Participate in security incident response through technical analysis.
• Provide oversight of security alert detection capabilities.
• Support communications of potential security incidents.
• Identify and analyze new threats to improve security posture.
• Assist with information security due diligence requests.
• Monitor AWS environments for security compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of information security experience.
• Hands-on experience in security operations.
• Technical knowledge of threat actor capabilities and methodologies.
• Familiarity with network attack methodologies.
• Experience with AWS security tools.
• Availability for 24/7 on-call support.
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, etc.
• Experience with SIEM solutions and endpoint detection tools.
• Strong understanding of security operations best practices.
