Senior Operations and Curriculum Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Senior Operations and Curriculum Specialist serves as the lead operational expert for the NSF TechXccelerator Program curriculum implementation and systems management. The Specialist will manage all aspects of curriculum delivery, systems administration, and operational procedures across Phase 1 and Phase 2 programs. This role requires deep expertise in educational technology, curriculum development, and program operations within research and innovation contexts. The Senior Operations and Curriculum Specialist will ensure seamless delivery of curriculum experiences while maintaining systems integrity and user accessibility.

In Short

• Manage Canvas learning management system including course setup, user administration, and content delivery
• Coordinate curriculum scheduling and implementation across multiple cohorts and research topics
• Oversee systems management for Box file sharing and Slack communication platforms
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for all operational activities
• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for teams and Anchor entities
• Coordinate curriculum customization and content preparation for each cohort
• Support live session implementation including virtual session management and breakout coordination
• Manage team deliverables tracking and feedback coordination
• Oversee user audits and access management across all program systems
• Ensure all operational activities meet federal compliance and accessibility requirements

Requirements

• Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex operational assignments requiring originality and innovation
• Ability to apply comprehensive knowledge across curriculum development and systems management
• Functions as a technical expert across multiple operational assignments
• Applied experience with learning management systems and educational technology platforms
• Demonstrated ability to manage curriculum implementation in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
• Strong understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles
• Experience with systems administration and user management
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and Section 508 compliance
• Ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders including researchers, coaches, and federal staff
• Ability to work independently and lead operational initiatives
• Candidate must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Operations Management, or related field and 7+ years of related experience
