Senior R-Shiny and React Developer - Remote

functionHR is a spin-off from LMU Munich. We develop an innovative and award-winning software solution for employee surveys and people analytics. We guide companies on their path to data-driven HR management. By combining statistics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence with innovative web applications, we revolutionize how HR decisions are made in companies.

In Short

• Design and development of R-Shiny applications
• Conceptualization and implementation of frontends in Shiny and React
• Creation of dashboards and data visualizations
• Further development and optimization of software interfaces for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
• Optimization of frontend/client-side architecture with respect to performance
• Review and introduction of suitable R and JS libraries
• Documentation, maintenance, and quality assurance of the code
• Close collaboration and coordination with our development team

Requirements

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, media informatics, information technology, or corresponding vocational training
• Very good knowledge of R and R-Shiny (both required)
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (must have)
• Good knowledge of React (must have)
• Knowledge in data visualization is an advantage (e.g., with plotly, D3.js)
• Experience working with Git
• Enthusiasm for working with data and creating appealing data visualizations
• Good analytical skills and structured work style
• Passion for high software quality and excellent UX
• Strong communication skills in German and English
