The Youth and Education Press Officer will conceptualize media strategy and generate specialized media coverage for PETA's Humane Education initiatives and youth campaigns.

Requirements

• Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in public relations or communications.
• Project management experience is helpful.
• Knowledge of youth culture and education.
• Understanding of the media landscape.
• Ability to think strategically and creatively.
• Willingness to work during weekends and evenings.
• Knowledge of animal rights issues.
• Ability to cultivate professional relationships.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
