Lending Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Lending Specialist is responsible for retaining members and gaining additional loans and products for the credit union through remote channels and outbound call programs.

• Respond to loan inquiries via remote channels.
• Solicit additional loans and credit union products.
• Originate loan applications for consumer and business products.
• Maintain knowledge of credit union products and services.
• Provide exceptional member service.
• Comply with Credit Union Policies and Procedures.
• Handle various assigned duties.

Requirements

• 1-year member service experience required.
• 1-year lending experience preferred.
• Proficiency in solving complex member issues.
• Call center experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to communicate courteously and diplomatically.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must remain composed in high-pressure situations.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
