Public Relations Officer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Relations Officer to join our team in Dubai. As a PR Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the reputation of Freelan through effective communication and relationship building with various stakeholders.

• Develop and implement PR strategies to promote the company's brand and services
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers
• Create and distribute press releases, media kits, and other promotional materials
• Organize and coordinate press events, interviews, and other media opportunities
• Monitor and analyze media coverage and provide reports to management
• Respond to media inquiries and manage any crisis communications
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation
• Plan and execute PR campaigns to support product launches and other initiatives
• Develop and maintain a strong network of industry contacts and partnerships
• Stay updated on industry trends and news to identify potential PR opportunities
• Manage the company's social media presence and engage with followers on various platforms

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a PR role, preferably in the UAE
• Proven track record of successful PR campaigns and media relations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Experience in crisis management and handling sensitive information
• Knowledge of social media management and analytics tools
• Familiarity with the UAE media landscape and cultural sensitivities
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Proficient in MS Office and other PR software and tools
