Overview

Freebird is rapidly growing, and we're looking for a strategic and insightful Senior Customer Insights & Direct-Response Strategist. This critical role balances deep customer research and insights (50%) with the implementation of persuasive direct-response messaging and sales strategies (50%). You’ll uncover exactly what motivates our customers, then translate those insights into powerful messaging, landing pages, emails, ads, and funnel optimizations that significantly increase conversions and drive business growth.

In Short

  • Conduct in-depth voice-of-customer research including surveys, customer interviews, review analysis, and competitor assessments.
  • Identify the emotional and psychological drivers behind customer decisions.
  • Leverage customer insights to craft persuasive direct-response copy.
  • Strategically structure funnels and offers to optimize the customer journey.
  • Provide ongoing training and guidance to internal teams on messaging strategies.
  • Run structured messaging and copy tests (A/B testing) to validate ideas.
  • Communicate insights and test results to influence marketing decisions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in customer insights and direct-response marketing.
  • Strong copywriting skills with a focus on conversion.
  • Experience with A/B testing and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
