Overview

The Manager Human Resources, People & Culture plays a key role in advancing Foundation for Jewish Camp’s (FJC) mission by fostering a workplace where people feel connected, supported, and able to do their best work. This role focuses on strengthening FJC’s values-driven culture and leading employee experience initiatives, including recruitment, onboarding, engagement, recognition, and internal communications.

In Short

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for team member questions.
  • Reinforce organizational values through day-to-day interactions.
  • Execute employee engagement and recognition initiatives.
  • Partner with VP on all recruitment efforts.
  • Manage candidate logistics and communication.
  • Lead internship recruitment strategy.
  • Design and execute structured onboarding experiences.
  • Support HR workflows and systems that enhance employee experience.
  • Provide administrative support to the VP, HR.
  • Coordinate logistics for staff meetings and events.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in Microsoft 365, Zoom, Slack, Asana.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant HR experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.
