Overview

As a Senior Sales Engineer at FOSSA, you will be the technical authority and trusted advisor for Fortune 500 clients, helping them understand the value of our software supply chain management platform that focuses on open source software.

In Short

  • Drive technical sales cycles by leading discovery and delivering impactful demos.
  • Be a trusted advisor, articulating technology and product positioning.
  • Partner with Account Executives to develop winning deal strategies.
  • Build business value by creating compelling ROI cases for customers.
  • Engage stakeholders and nurture relationships across long sales cycles.
  • Influence product direction by channeling customer feedback.
  • Evangelize FOSSA at industry events and through developer-facing content.
  • Identify initiatives to improve the customer experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Sales Engineering or technical pre-sales experience.
  • Proven track record supporting six-figure+ enterprise deals.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and open source ecosystem.
  • Experience engaging Engineering, Security, and Compliance teams.
  • Hands-on familiarity with DevOps tools and comfort with scripting or programming.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate technical depth into business impact.
  • Self-starter with a startup mentality.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
