Overview

The Senior Demand Planner and Analyst will be responsible for managing the forecast for a defined set of products and customers and aggregating up through product lines to the Business and Channel level within The Master Lock Company.

In Short

  • Manage high volume, key account forecasts.
  • Drive forecasting engagement and collaboration with Business Units.
  • Achieve forecast accuracy targets.
  • Develop and maintain new product launch forecasts.
  • Identify improvements to forecast accuracy using statistical models.
  • Work independently with strong analytical and technical aptitude.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Business Units, Sales, Finance, and Customers.
  • Participate in innovative demand planning projects.
  • Present forecasts during the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
  • Manage promotion and event forecasts for assigned accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of demand planning and/or sales analytics experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
  • Experience with data visualization software preferred.
  • Experience in demand planning software or related application.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent database capabilities.
  • Comfortable working with large data sets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
  • Team player with daily communications with management and sales.
