Senior Business Project Manager - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Business Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring performance, budget, and timeline adherence while independently leading complex ERP projects.

In Short

• Independent planning and execution of comprehensive ERP projects for new and existing clients.
• Successful leadership of complex ERP projects as the main contact for decision-makers on the client side.
• Project planning and scope definition in collaboration with the client and sales team.
• Sales support: needs analysis with clients and development of solution concepts.
• Negotiation of project components including content, timelines, and effort.
• Selection of project teams from consultants in Germany and offshore locations.
• Management and coordination of partners and service providers.
• Building and maintaining a close and trusting relationship with clients.
• Development of project plans including effort estimation and budget planning.
• Quality assurance and risk analysis: monitoring and documentation of progress.

Requirements

• Degree or training in business or IT, with extensive experience in managing IT, preferably ERP projects.
• Ideally, knowledge in production/manufacturing.
• Methodical, solution-oriented, and independent work style.
• Good abstraction and argumentation skills, especially in complex contexts.
• Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness for continuous development and proactive learning.
• Time flexibility and enjoyment of teamwork.
