Overview

Formstack is seeking an intern to join our Data Classification team for a 4-month fixed term, bridging the gap between data science and software development.

In Short

  • Internship focused on data classification and deep learning models.
  • Research new types of data for classifiers.
  • Prepare training data and assist with data cleanup.
  • Tune prompts for AI data generation.
  • Analyze benchmarks for accuracy and speed.
  • Run experiments and analyze results.
  • Remote position with occasional in-person meetings.
  • Preferred candidates from the Tri-State area (NY/NJ/CT).
  • Opportunity to work in a diverse and dynamic team.
  • Contribute to a workflow automation platform.

Requirements

  • Working towards a Master’s degree in Data Science or related field.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning and neural networks.
  • Proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with PyTorch, SciPy, and Jupyter Notebooks.
  • Comfort using Unix command line.
  • Proven research skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical concepts.
  • Ability to think critically about data contexts.
  • Experience in Git repositories preferred.
  • Familiarity with AWS and Kubernetes is a plus.
