Overview

As a Robotics DevOps Engineer at Formic, you will play a key role in the design, development, and continuous enhancement of cutting-edge industrial robotic systems, aiming to revolutionize American manufacturing.

In Short

• Help define and build monitoring infrastructure for robotic systems.
• Create strategies and implement tools for maximizing system availability.
• Collaborate with customer IT teams for system integration.
• Monitor existing systems and resolve issues as necessary.
• Support provisioning of monitoring infrastructure on new deployments.
• Respond to issues detected by automated monitoring.
• Monitor Grafana dashboards for anomalies.
• Work with physical hardware and external IT departments.
• Utilize knowledge of AWS, Linux, and networking.
• Experience in Robotics or IoT is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in DevOps or IT roles.
• Experience with physical hardware is required.
• Deep understanding of Linux and networking.
• Knowledge of AWS infrastructure.
• Experience in Robotics or IoT is a plus.
• Knowledge of Python is a plus.
• Ability to work on a hybrid basis (3+ days/week).
