Remote Registered Dietitian

Overview

Foodsmart is seeking Registered Dietitians (RDs) to support the comprehensive nutrition care mission of Foodsmart Nutrition Network, which is grounded in removing the financial barriers in accessing and affording healthy food.

In Short

• Provide individualized medical nutrition therapy (MNT) via remote sessions.
• Help patients use their grocery money on Foodsmart's digital platform.
• Support patients in completing regular nutrition assessments.
• Document care in electronic medical records.
• Manage a panel of clients with various chronic health conditions.
• Communicate effectively with clients through HIPAA-compliant calls and messages.
• Develop lasting relationships with patients to support behavior change.
• Work in a start-up environment, providing feedback for workflow improvements.
• Motivate patients to continue their care journey.
• Advocate for underserved populations, particularly Medicaid members.

Requirements

• Active credentialing as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Active license in at least one state; willingness to obtain more licenses.
• Ability to work in the U.S.
• High-speed internet and a smartphone.
