Overview

As a Remote Registered Dietitian at Foodsmart, you will leverage a digital platform to provide personalized nutrition care, helping members access healthier food options and overcome barriers to nutrition.

In Short

• Provide individualized medical nutrition therapy (MNT) remotely.
• Support patients in accessing and using SNAP benefits.
• Conduct nutrition assessments via a proprietary nutrition quiz.
• Document care in electronic medical records.
• Manage a diverse panel of clients with chronic health conditions.
• Communicate effectively through HIPAA-compliant video and audio calls.
• Develop lasting relationships with patients for sustainable behavior change.
• Work in a start-up environment and provide feedback for workflow improvements.
• Motivate patients to continue their care journey.
• Advocate for underserved populations.

Requirements

• Active Registered Dietitian credentialing by the CDR.
• State licensure and willingness to obtain additional licenses.
• Ability to work in the U.S.
• High-speed internet and a smartphone.
• Strong clinical background with experience in motivational interviewing.
• Proactive approach to patient advocacy.
• Passion for improving access to healthy food.
• Ability to work independently and learn new technologies.
• High patient satisfaction score (NPS >80).
