Data Center Integration and Operations Director - Remote

Overview

Fluidstack is hiring a Data Center Integration & Operations Director to manage the transition from construction to operational readiness in our data centers, ensuring optimal performance for GPU workloads.

In Short

• Lead the commissioning and operation of data centers.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams for systems testing and quality assurance.
• Ensure facilities are operational and scalable from Day 0.
• Establish standardized workflows for deployment monitoring.
• Be the escalation point for early operational issues.
• Document and train teams for seamless handover to operations.
• Travel extensively for on-site commissioning and go-live phases.
• 10+ years experience in data center operations required.
• Strong communication and leadership skills necessary.
• Remote-first company with access to WeWork for non-office locations.

Requirements

• B.S/B.E/B.A degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in large-scale industrial or data center operations.
• Leadership experience in hyperscale facilities.
• Strong understanding of commissioning for dense compute clusters.
• Familiarity with GPU workloads and reliability engineering.
• Excellent crisis management and communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate to data center location.
