Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Documentation Specialist to conduct in-depth research and produce comprehensive documentation related to venues, liquidity providers, customer business requirements, and Fluent's features and capabilities.

• Conduct independent research to identify and analyze technical requirements, trends, and solutions in the financial domain.
• Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including specifications, user guides, and presentations, with clear diagrams and explanations.
• Translate complex technical concepts into accessible documentation for diverse audiences, including customers, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and support staff, to ensure technical accuracy and clarity of documentation.
• Support internal and external stakeholders by answering technical questions and providing clear, well-researched responses.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies relevant to the financial sector.

Requirements

• Exceptional technical writing skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively.
• Strong research skills and ability to independently gather and analyze information.
• Deep understanding of relevant technologies, including networking, messaging protocols, operating systems, and financial protocols (e.g., FIX, SBE).
• Familiarity with software development concepts and tools.
• Ability to create technical diagrams and flowcharts to visually represent complex systems.
• Excellent English language proficiency, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
