Quality Control Field Technician - Remote

Overview

The Quality Control (QC) Field Technician is responsible for conducting on-site inspections, testing, and monitoring of products, materials, and processes at customer locations, ensuring compliance with quality standards.

• Perform product hardware installations and field inspections.
• Conduct routine testing on-site to monitor product quality.
• Document and report deviations from product quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with quality control procedures and protocols.
• Record and maintain accurate field data and inspection reports.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during quality control activities.
• Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained.
• Adhere to safety standards while on-site.
• Provide training and guidance to the support team.
• Stay updated on new QC techniques and regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of experience in quality control or related field.
• Strong understanding of vehicle hardware installations and electronics testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a solutions-oriented attitude.
• Basic knowledge of calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with trucking industry operations and safety specifications.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or equivalent reporting methods.
• Certification in quality control is preferred.
