In Short

• Architect, implement, and support OpenStack-based private cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure scalability, resilience, automation, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with platform and SRE teams for secure, performant services.
• Automate provisioning and lifecycle management of OpenStack services.
• Contribute to upstream OpenStack projects.
• Implement continuous delivery pipelines for OpenStack updates.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and healing mechanisms.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of learning.
• Work in a collaborative team focused on open source and infrastructure excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with OpenStack cloud environments.
• Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code with Ansible, Terraform, or Pulumi.
• Knowledge of OpenStack core services (Neutron, Octavia, etc.).
• Strong Linux systems engineering background.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated test frameworks.
• Understanding of networking, load balancing, and storage protocols.
• Success in building or maintaining high-availability OpenStack clusters.
• Experience with container technologies is a plus.
• Ability to write technical documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred.
