Senior Transportation Project Manager - Remote

Overview

Fisher Associates is seeking an experienced Senior Transportation Project Manager to lead highway and bridge design projects across a range of transportation and civil engineering initiatives, from concept through delivery.

• Lead mid-to-large-scale transportation projects from initial setup through planning and project kick-off.
• Manage project budgets, scope, schedule, and staffing for timely delivery.
• Collaborate with teams, clients, and stakeholders to align with client goals.
• Oversee project billing, client updates, and QA/QC of deliverables.
• Provide direction, motivation, and mentorship to team members.
• Prepare project proposals and serve as primary client contact.
• Support new business development and build lasting client relationships.
• Navigate complex public processes and municipal approvals.
• Represent Fisher Associates in professional organizations.
• Maintain knowledge of design software for team collaboration.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years in civil transportation engineering, including project management of DOT-funded projects.
• Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred or ability to obtain it.
• Demonstrated success in developing trusted client relationships.
• Proficiency in MS Office; MicroStation preferred.
• Familiarity with NYDOT or PennDOT design standards preferred.
• Proven ability to deliver quality work through critical thinking.
• Adaptable and proactive in meeting deliverables and deadlines.
