Virtual Primary Care Physician - Remote

Overview

First Stop Health is in search of part-time physicians to join our Virtual Primary Care team. Our mission is to help our employer clients reduce their overall health claims spend by serving their members virtually, keeping them away from in-person medical care when possible. Our primary care physicians will treat patients virtually, via phone or video call, serving their episodic, chronic, and preventive care needs.

In Short

• Part-time virtual primary care physician role.
• Flexible shifts, requiring 10-20 hours per week.
• Assess and diagnose patient needs via phone or video.
• Review patient medical history and current medications.
• Order labs and imaging as necessary.
• Prescribe medications when appropriate.
• Assist patients in managing chronic concerns.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Work as part of a care team.
• No coding or billing required.

Requirements

• Board certification in family or internal medicine.
• Active licenses to practice in at least 5 states preferred.
• Willingness to become licensed in additional states.
• Commitment of at least 10 hours/week.
• Passion for using technology to increase access to care.
• Ability to build trust and rapport with patients.
