Senior Model Based Systems Engineer - Remote

Overview

This position involves providing Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) analysis support to the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) PMS 408 - Naval Expeditionary Missions (EXM) Program Office. The role includes ongoing analytical support, and program management, as well as administrative support for various program objectives. Key responsibilities include delivering comprehensive analysis, aiding in the management of acquisition and logistics projects, and collaborating closely with team members to ensure effective program execution and management.

In Short

• Apply formal application of model-based systems engineering techniques and tools.
• Requirements analysis, modeling with traceability.
• Develop and manage DOD Architecture Framework (DODAF)-described views.
• Conduct Expeditionary Medical Systems analysis and decomposition.
• Identify interface definitions.
• Provide test support including development of Requirements Traceability and Verification Matrix (RTVMs).
• Perform simulation and other analysis.
• Employ DON-approved modeling tools and MBSE environments.
• Communicate MBSE contributions to broader Navy and joint mission objectives.
