Overview

As a Senior Cloud Data Platform Engineer at 1st Central, you will lead the development of our Azure Data Platform, designing smart and scalable solutions that enhance our data capabilities.

In Short

• Lead the development of data and analytics capabilities in Azure.
• Collaborate with Data Architects and Principal Engineers.
• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Bicep.
• Ensure data security and efficiency across the Azure services.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
• Manage and maintain Azure Data Platform infrastructure.
• Contribute to high-level solution designs and low-level designs.
• Document and consolidate resources in the Azure Data Platform.
• Identify and implement improvements to processes and standards.
• Support and coach team members in their development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Cloud technologies.
• 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code.
• Expertise in Azure services including Synapse and Data Factory.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for data.
• Experience in CI/CD methods and agile environments.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with SQL and database technologies.
• Ability to coach and support team members.
• Experience with source control providers, preferably Git.
• Deep understanding of the full data lifecycle.
