Overview

The Associate Scrum Master ensures that their agile development pods live and practice the desired agile values and follow the agreed upon processes and practices while fostering a collaborative environment.

In Short

• Manage scope, process, timelines, and metrics for development pods.
• Facilitate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups.
• Coach team members and stakeholders in agile frameworks.
• Remove blockers and resolve conflicts within the team.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards at the end of each sprint.
• Maintain a productive environment for team ownership and value-driven outcomes.
• Be the point of contact for external communications with stakeholders.
• Support product owners on grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
• Facilitate necessary ceremonies within Scrum.
• Learn the product/platform to effectively guide the team.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Scrum Master for agile development pods.
• First Level Scrum Master certification required.
• Knowledge of software development and prioritization methodologies.
• Mid-level knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks like Kanban.
• Awareness of Agile techniques like TDD and BDD.
• Excellent communication and servant leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
