Product Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

As a Product Accounting Manager, you will help execute our vision to make accountants and financial executives’ lives easier by researching complex accounting problems, driving delivery and execution with a process improvement focus, and assisting the product team in developing software with sound technical accounting.

In Short

• Serve as an Accounting point person within the Product team.
• Research relevant accounting guidance for software solutions.
• Communicate accounting concepts to non-accounting staff.
• Collaborate with product managers, analysts, and developers.
• Draft software requirements using accounting knowledge.
• Assist with accounting-related questions from various departments.
• Participate in customer calls and educate them on new features.
• Summarize accounting trends from regulatory publications.
• Test new accounting features and ensure system functionality.
• Conduct business in accordance with company policies.

Requirements

• 4 years of experience in audit or assurance, preferably at a Big 4.
• Experience with technical research and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and its application.
• Competence in researching accounting guidance.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
