Senior DevOps & Cloud Platform Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior DevOps & Cloud Platform Engineer, you will enhance our existing AWS multi-account setup, focusing on environment separation, network design, and security services.

In Short

• Develop and improve AWS multi-account setup.
• Create a self-service platform for product teams using Terraform and GitLab CI/CD.
• Coach developers on infrastructure issues and troubleshooting.
• Implement infrastructure needs hands-on and solution-oriented.
• Maintain technical infrastructure including GitLab CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools.
• Conduct regular security updates and prepare for audits.
• Build a DevOps team in the future.
• Work in a fully remote environment with a focus on ownership.
• Communicate effectively in German (C2 level).

Requirements

• Experience in software development with a focus on platforms.
• Extensive experience with AWS multi-account setups.
• Deep knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Familiarity with cloud networking, IAM, and security concepts.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD and runner infrastructure.
• Knowledge of containerized workloads on AWS ECS is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and pragmatically.
• Comfortable in a remote work environment.
• Fluent in German (C2 level).
