We are looking for a Senior Platform/DevOps Engineer based in Latin America with a strong background in platform engineering, and dev-ops, also familiar with working within a full stack, microservices/distributed software environment. The candidate will play a crucial role in supporting a medium-sized biotechnology and agricultural company, driving its platform’s efficiency, scalability, and security.

In Short

Leverage expertise with K8S, EKS, helm charts, Python, and YAML-based configuration to enhance and maintain existing platform operations.
Work closely with development teams to design, develop, and maintain existing infrastructure using Terraform and AWS resources.
Collaborate with software engineering teams to streamline and enhance their CICD deployments.
Introduce, implement, and maintain observability tools and practices.
Work in tandem with the security team to ensure the existing platform and its deployments are secure.

Requirements

5+ years of Engineering experience.
4+ years of platform/dev-ops experience in a full-stack, microservices/distributed environment.
Strong communication skills in English (B2 / upper intermediate level) and Spanish.
Strong proficiency with K8S, EKS, helm charts, Python, and YAML-based configurations.
Extensive experience with Terraform and AWS resources.
Proven track record of working with software engineering teams and enhancing their CICD deployments.
Experience with advanced deployment strategies such as blue/green deployments.
Knowledge of SRE observability practices and tools.
