Group Reporting Manager - Remote

Overview

This role sits within the Group Reporting team, part of FT’s Global Finance operation. As a newly created position, it supports the Director of Corporate Reporting & Accounting and the Group Finance Director across key areas such as the Group’s M&A activity, technical accounting, and other ad-hoc projects.

In Short

• Lead the Group Reporting Team’s involvement in key M&A projects.
• Draft technical accounting papers detailing the financial reporting impact of significant transactions.
• Handle the rollout of comprehensive updates to the Group’s accounting policies.
• Ensure an effective control environment is maintained.
• Support the Group Reporting Manager in monthly consolidation activities.
• Collaborate for timely completion of month-end activities and audits.
• Qualified ACA with 2-3 years of experience.
• Strong technical knowledge and a commercial approach.
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Oracle is preferable.
