Multimedia Producer - Remote

Overview

The FT is looking for a creative and technically skilled Multimedia Producer on a 12 month fixed term contract, responsible for producing and editing short-form videos that appear on FT.com, YouTube, and social media.

In Short

• Produce and edit short-form videos for FT platforms and social media.
• Collaborate with the Explainers Editor to create impactful visual-led explainers.
• Design and animate modern motion graphics.
• Contribute creative ideas in team meetings.
• Ensure videos are optimised for platform and audience.
• Work with journalists to shape scripts and visuals.
• Maintain high production standards while managing multiple projects.

Requirements

• A strong portfolio in video production and motion graphics.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
• Ability to craft visual narratives and apply good editorial judgment.
• Knowledge of social-first video formats and trends.
• Strong understanding of design principles.
