Social Media Producer - Remote

Overview

The Producer will assist with our content production and promotion strategies, with an eye on further growing TRD's voice and presence on social media.

In Short

• Assist the Social Media Editor with daily content flow across platforms.
• Produce daily content for Facebook and LinkedIn.
• Collaborate with reporters on story breakdowns for X/Threads.
• Work with the Multimedia team to script social-first videos.
• Manage community engagement and expand TRD's network.
• Provide administrative support for analytics understanding.
• Collaborate with Marketing on promotional efforts.

Requirements

• Experience at a news outlet or media company preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.
• Social media savvy with knowledge of best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with social media management tools like Later.com, Sprout Social is a plus.
• Interest/experience with Photoshop and design basics is a plus.
