Credit Analyst - Remote

Overview

FAME is looking to add to our Credit Analyst Team. The Credit Analyst is responsible for the financial analysis of our commercial product loans of varying complexity and size. Identifying risk, reviewing requests for exceptions and evaluating loan structure are all components of this role.

• Support underwriting for commercial programs.
• Prepare reports on findings and make recommendations.
• Maintain documentation in loan files and systems.
• Review and analyze updated financial statements annually.
• Commercial loan underwriting experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret financial statements effectively.
• Work primarily based in Augusta with remote options post-training.

Requirements

• Minimum four-year degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Two years of related work experience in commercial lending.
• Knowledge of credit and lending criteria.
• Understanding of accounting principles.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Extensive knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word.
