QA Automation Engineer - Remote

Overview

FileCloud is looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our team in Brazil. This role will primarily focus on ensuring the quality and reliability of software through automation and testing.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Work closely with development and QA teams to create test plans and cases.
• Perform exploratory testing to identify defects in the software.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated tests.
• Create and manage test data sets for comprehensive test coverage.
• Participate in peer reviews of code for quality assurance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and prioritize testing.
• Document test plans, cases, bug reports, and automation scripts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
• Proficiency in PHP or Python.
• 5+ years of experience in automation.
• Familiarity with test automation tools like Selenium and Appium.
• Understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman.
• Ability to design maintainable test automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration and reporting.
