Overview

The Warehouse Associate performs all shipping and receiving activities for a Branch location, ensuring timely delivery of correct items and proper maintenance of stocked merchandise.

In Short

• Determines items to be picked, checked, and shipped from sales orders.
• Pulls and rechecks orders for accuracy.
• Prepares items for delivery to customers.
• Secures packages to prevent damage during shipping.
• Prepares customer returns for shipment.
• Sorts and organizes materials according to established codes.
• Reports damaged inventory to the warehouse supervisor.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
• May deliver items to customers and process counter sales.
• May operate a forklift or similar equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED typically required.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move up to 100 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
• Forklift certification may be needed.
