Overview

The Direct Services Assistant Manager supports the operation and performance of internal food distribution programs, ensuring efficient and effective service to address community food insecurity.

• Manage day-to-day operations of food distribution programs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in a nonprofit or external facing role.
• 2-3 years of experience in food distribution operations preferred.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to resolve conflicts with tact and sensitivity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of nonprofit practices and commitment to alleviating hunger.
• Must have valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and manage physical tasks related to the role.
