Overview

We are seeking a QA Engineer with expertise in both manual and automated testing to ensure our platform's reliability, security, and performance. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test cases that verify user journeys, system functionality, and integrations. Your automated tests will be integrated into our CI/CD pipeline to catch defects early and maintain system stability.

In Short

  • Develop, execute, and document manual test cases for new features, regression testing, and exploratory testing.
  • Validate UI components, API integrations, and user flows across web applications.
  • Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure a consistent user experience.
  • Identify, log, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites for UI, API, and end-to-end (E2E) testing.
  • Implement and execute automated user journey tests using tools like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
  • Automate API testing with Postman or Jest to validate backend services.
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline (GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline) to ensure continuous quality.
  • Define and maintain a robust test strategy covering functional, regression, performance, security, and usability testing.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure test coverage and improve testability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) with manual and automated testing.
  • Strong experience testing modern web applications using tools like Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or Jest.
  • Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines for automated validation.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, API testing tools (Postman, Jest, Supertest), and debugging API responses.
  • Understanding of test automation frameworks and best practices.
  • Experience working in Agile development teams.
